General Guidelines - Terms & Conditions
Please read the submission rules before submitting an abstract.
- Abstracts must be original and must not have been published or presented at any other conference.
- Abstracts must be submitted in English using exclusively the on-line system of the Conference webpage.
- Abstracts submitted via any other means will not be accepted.

Please follow the template. Submitted files that do not follow the template will be rejected immediately.
- One registration is allowed to submit 1 abstract only.
ABSTRACT
- Abstract should be no longer than 250 words (download the abstract template HERE).
- Please ensure that the abstract text is fully proofread and free of typographical and grammatical errors
- An abstract body should briefly mention the research objective/aims, main findings, and conclusions.
GRAPHICAL ABSTRACT (Optional)
- The graphical abstract should summarize or describe the main content of the research in a concise and visually appealing way to increase the visibility of the abstract and help the reader better understand the research.
- The guidelines to be referred:
- Submit a graphical abstract as a separate file during the submission process.
- The image should be at least 531 x 1328 pixels (height x width) or proportionally larger so that it is readable at a size of 5 x 13 cm and a standard screen resolution of 96 dpi.
- Acceptable file formats for graphical abstracts are JPEG and PNG files.
IMPORTANT NOTES
- Your abstract and graphical abstract must be free of exclusive third-party usage rights.
- All abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee. The author acting as contact person will be informed on the status of the submitted abstract (acceptance/rejection), its presentation type, and the final presentation number.
- Registration must be received no later than 31 August 2026 to ensure that your abstract is included in the conference programme and scheduled for presentation. Abstracts must be received by the announced deadline.
- The deadline for an abstract submission is 31 August 2026.
With your submission, you declare the following:
- As the author of the abstract and on behalf of all authors, you grant to Malaysian Natural Products Society (MNPS) the non-exclusive rights of use of your abstract, including graphical abstract for the purpose of publication in printed and electronic media published by the MNPS.

Upon submission of the registration form, participants will receive a confirmation email from the Secretariat. The receipt of payment or other payment-related documents will be emailed within 14 working days.
For oral and poster presenters, please submit your abstract through the Abstract Submission section first. Once your abstract has been accepted, you will receive a notification of acceptance containing your presentation ID number and presentation slot. You may then proceed with registration and payment according to the applicable registration category.

Sains Malaysiana
Sains Malaysiana is published monthly by Penerbit UKM (twelve issues a year). It contains articles on Earth Sciences, Health Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences and Physical Sciences. Articles are published in Malay or English. The journal is indexed and abstracted in Web of Science (Science Citation Index Expanded/SciSearch®, Journal Citation Reports/Science Edition), SCOPUS, ASEAN Citation Index, Chemical Abstracts, Google-Scholar, MyJurnal, MyCite, Zentralblatt MATH and Zoological Records. In conjunction with ICNP2026, the ICNP2026 registered participants will have the opportunity to publish their work in Sains Malaysiana. Malaysian Journal of Microbiology (MJM)
The Malaysian Journal of Microbiology (MJM) is an open access peer-reviewed journal published in association with the Malaysian Society for Microbiology. It serves as a forum for scientific communication among scientists and academics who deal with microbes and microbial products. The journal publishes research articles, short communications and review articles on various novel aspects of microbiology. The medium of communication is English and the number of publication has increased to six times a year starting 2019. All submission will undergo rigorous single-blind peer-review evaluation process before a final decision. The journal is indexed in SCOPUS, CAS, CABI, WPRIM, MyCite, MyAIS, Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) by Clarivate Analytics, Google Scholar and EBSCO. In conjunction with ICNP2026, the ICNP2026 registered participants will have the opportunity to publish their work in MJM under regular issue. Contemporary Research in Natural Products (CRNP)
Contemporary Research in Natural Products (CRNP) is the official open-access journal of the Malaysian Society of Natural Products (MNPS), dedicated to sharing knowledge and documenting information which will potentially be of value towards application of natural products as medicine, nutraceuticals, cosmeceuticals, aroma chemicals, and agrochemicals. The journal publishes original scholarly contributions in natural products research, focusing on substances derived from terrestrial and marine plants, microbes, and animals. It considers interdisciplinary articles that explore the chemistry, biology, biochemistry and preclinical pharmacology of natural products, utilizing contemporary methods and approaches in the relevant fields. In conjunction with ICNP2026, the ICNP2026 registered participants will have the opportunity to publish their work in CRNP under special issue. Journal of Tropical Resources and Sustainable Science (JTRSS)
The Journal of Tropical Resources and Sustainable Science (JTRSS) is a Scopus indexed journal published by Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK) Press and managed by Faculty of Agro Based Industry. JTRSS is a single blind peer-reviewed journal. At least two independent reviewers outside editorial office are employed. JTRSS is published quarterly in March, June, September, and December. Authors are welcomed to submit original articles, review articles or case study for consideration by JTRSS in English language. In conjunction with ICNP2026, the ICNP2026 registered participants will have the opportunity to publish their work in Sains Malaysiana. - No screening from the ICNP 2026 Scientific and Publication Committee
- Participants can self-submit directly to MJM and ensure that the work they submit is similar to the abstract they submitted to ICNP. If not, the published work APC will not be borne by ICNP 2026.
- Once accepted, the author can inform the ICNP 2026 Scientific and Publication Committee of their APC sponsorship request.
- First published, first sponsored.
- Publication with Sains Malaysiana (SM)
- Only articles in Bahasa Melayu will be sponsored.
- Last submission for full paper: 15 September 2026
- Will be screened by the ICNP Scientific and Publication Committee
- The ICNP 2026 Scientific and Publication Committee will inform the selected papers (please ensure that the work you submit is consistent with what you submitted to ICNP. If not, the paper will not proceed to the screening process) and submit the list to SM Editor-in-Chief. Then, participants can self-submit directly to SM.
- Once accepted, the author can inform the ICNP 2026 Scientific and Publication Committee for APC sponsorship.
- Publication with Journal of Tropical Resources and Sustainable Sciences (JTRSS)
- Last submission for full paper: 15 September 2026
- Will be screened by the ICNP Scientific and Publication Committee
- The ICNP 2026 Scientific and Publication Committee will inform the selected papers (please ensure that the work you submit is consistent with what you submitted to ICNP. If not, the paper will not proceed to the screening process) and proceed with in-house peer review. Once accepted, the paper will be submitted to the JTRSS Editor for last-stage screening.
- Once accepted by the JTRSS Editor, the ICNP 2026 Scientific and Publication Committee will proceed with the APC payment.
- Publication with Contemporary Research in Natural Products (CRNP)
- Last submission for full paper: 15 September 2026
- Will be screened by the ICNP Scientific and Publication Committee
- The ICNP 2026 Scientific and Publication Committee will inform the selected papers (please ensure that the work you submit is consistent with what you submitted to ICNP. B. Presentation Format
- Acceptable digital format presentation—16x9 .ppt or .pptx and .pdf file.
- Presentation laptops will be provided in the session halls. Please note that a presentation with your own laptop is not possible.
- All presentations shall be provided to the Slide Center at least one hour before the presentation time or the day before in case of a morning session.
- You can download the ICNP 2026 [link: conference banner] and [link: logo] to use them in your oral presentation.
- The official language is English.
Poster Presentation
Poster Format
- All posters must be prepared in English
- The poster should include:
- the title, author(s), affiliation(s), background section (which covers the introduction, research gap, and objectives), methodology, findings (including results and discussion), conclusion, acknowledgments, references, and contact information (QR code).
- Please prepare and bring your poster in PORTRAIT format (Size: A1, W 59.4 x H 84.1 cm). (refer to the poster template). Posters that exceed the above dimensions will not be displayed on site.
- Poster boards will be numbered according to the numbering of posters as given in the Programme.
- Poster boards will be provided for mounting the posters.
- Mounting material will be provided on-site upon registration.
- The judging process will be carried out during the coffee/tea breaks. Poster presenters must be present during the evaluation process.
