MDAC
Beginning 1 January 2024, all foreign citizens travelling to Malaysia are required to complete the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) three (3) days prior to arrival, except for the list.

YELLOW FEVER VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS
As per international health regulations, travelers arriving from yellow fever endemic countries or any country with an active yellow fever transmission or those transiting through such areas, are required to present a valid Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate upon entry to Malaysia. The vaccination must be administered at least 10 days before travel.

1. MNPS Members
The Malaysian Natural Products Society (MNPS) offers Travel Grant Awards for attending ICNP2026. The application dateline is 31 July 2026. For more details and to apply, please visit the MNPS website.
2. USM Postgraduate Students

- Penang Floating Mosque (Masjid Terapung): Located just 2.5 km away. This is a
gorgeous coastal mosque built entirely on stilts over the sea. It looks spectacular
during high tide when it genuinely appears to be floating. - Tanjung Bungah Public Beach & Water Sports Centre: Right outside your door.
It is highly popular for renting kayaks, jet skis, and catching beachside sunsets
away from the heavier Batu Ferringhi crowds.
2. Heading South (Towards Tanjung Tokong & City Side β 5 to 10 Mins)
- Penang Avatar Secret Garden: (~2.3 km away) Located behind the Tua Pek Kong
Temple in Tanjung Tokong. This beachside park is completely transformed at night
with neon, multi-colored LED lights wrapped around the trees to mimic the
bioluminescent forest from the movie Avatar. - Straits Quay Marina Mall: (~3.5 km away) A beautiful, colonial-style upscale
retail marina promenade. It is a fantastic spot to walk along the piers, look at the
yachts, and enjoy waterfront dining, bars, and cafΓ©s
3. Heading North (Towards Batu Ferringhi Nature Strip β 10 to 15 Mins)
- TeddyVille Museum: (~4.5 km away) Located inside the DoubleTree Resort, this
is a fun, lighthearted museum tracking the history of Penang entirely through
detailed, miniature teddy bear dioramas. - Batu Ferringhi Night Market: (~7 km away) A sprawling night bazaar that comes
alive every evening. It is great for hunting down local souvenirs, clothing, artwork,
and snacking on street food.
